Optiv provides managed XDR security for AWS, Google, and Microsoft Azure Clouds

Optiv Security, a security solutions integrator and Top 250 MSSP, now offers its Managed eXtended Detection and Response (MXDR) security service on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. By doing so, organizations can use MXDR to secure applications, data and systems in new public and multi-cloud environments, Optiv asserted.

Managed XDR automates incident investigation by combining human and machine analysis to provide threat monitoring, detection and mitigation across all IT environments. Optiv launched MXDR in August 2021 and continues to explore opportunities to improve its offering. This way, Optiv can ensure that organizations can use MXDR to strengthen their security controls, the company said.

Optiv’s MXDR expansion comes after the company announced in April 2022 a Privileged Access Management-as-a-Service (PMaaS) solution powered by the CyberArk Privilege Cloud Identity Security Platform.

Organizations can use Optiv’s PMaaS solution to protect privileged end-user accounts from cyberattacks, the company said. Optiv also provides managed services to support the solution; these services allow organizations to access Optiv’s security and operations (SecOps) team to maintain, optimize and operate their PAM deployments.

Optiv provides managed security services and risk management, integration and technology solutions to more than 7,000 organizations worldwide. It also offers a partner program and works with over 400 security technology vendors.
