Mercier | Mettl appoints Kangan Shekhar as vice president of human resources and special projects

New Delhi: Mercier | Mettl, the global leader in talent acquisition and management, has appointed Kangan Shekhar as vice president of human resources and special projects to strengthen its HR operations and expand its global presence. She will be responsible for internal collaboration within Mettl and Marsh McLennan. Kangan Will Also Play Key Role in Aligning Organizational Development and Effectiveness with the Achievement of Mercer | Mettl’s growth objectives.

Kangan has a rich and extensive experience of nearly two decades in human resources. She is a recognized leader in mergers and acquisitions across all industries including banking, finance, technology and pharmaceuticals.

She will lead the performance management processes to support a high performance culture at the individual and organizational level. She will also lead the rewards and recognition strategy to help achieve the organization’s strategic goals.

Kangan began her career with Hewitt Associates in 2003, where she spent almost 4 years before moving to the industry, where she spent over 3 years with American Express and Barclays Finance, respectively, in their awards teams. Its field of activity has extended beyond India to the countries of South Asia and the Middle East.

She was then associated with Towers Watson, where she led the Talent & Rewards practice for the Northern region. His last role before moving to Mercer | Mettl worked at Mercer Consulting for over 9 years, where she led several sectors for the consulting business in India and managed the Sri Lanka market.
