Meanwhile, Peter Sommers, current vice president, Global People Services, has been named interim chief human resources officer. Gonzalez intends to stay with the company to help it through a transition period.

Peter Sommers, currently IFF Vice President, Global People Services, is a strategic and results-oriented human resources manager with extensive experience in talent development, change management and core people functions and cultural.
An IFF veteran, Sommers has been instrumental in successfully executing IFF’s largest HR initiatives since 2000, including leading HR due diligence and onboarding people regarding the merger. of 2019 with DuPont N&B and the global execution of the HR strategy, including global benefits, compensation, talent development information system, recruitment and human resources.
Sommers graduated from Canisius College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management.
