Summary of Qualifications
Who can apply: US citizens To be eligible, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements outlined below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work performed in national service programs (eg, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (eg, professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume should clearly describe your relevant experience; if you qualify based on your education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information on transcripts can be found in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience including: Providing administrative support; Candidates being processed or pre-selected; Interview candidates; Document review; Maintain records; and perform data entry.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal Public Service (GS-04). OR Education: Four years of higher education at the secondary level obtained from an accredited trade, secretarial or technical school, college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the calculated percentage of requirements is at least 100%. To calculate the requirement percentage, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your study hours per semester beyond two years (total hours per semester minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages . You will be assessed on the basis of your skill level in the following areas:
