Diana Perkins appointed Director of Human Resources at InterMed

Diana perkins

Diana perkins was hired at InterMed as director of human resources. Perkins previously worked for Indus Hospitality Group in Rochester, New York, where she oversaw all administrative aspects of human resources for the organization’s 1,000 employees.

Amy sisson

Amy sisson also joined InterMed as nurse in charge of the outpatient surgery center. Sisson brings 15 years of experience in administration and nursing, along with a strong focus on quality and patient safety.

Portside Real Estate Group announced three additions to the business:

Nate mayo

Nate mayo joined the Kennebunk office in Portside as an associate broker. Mayo brings more than five years of experience in the real estate industry. He was previously one of the top producers of a large franchise agency.

Sarah carson

Sarah carson joined the group’s Falmouth office as an associate broker. Carson has over four years of experience in the real estate industry. Carson previously worked in corporate banking.

Kelly statzar

Kelly statzar was hired at the group’s Yarmouth office as a sales agent. Statczar will join Portside’s 12-month program designed to jumpstart the real estate careers of new agents while working alongside one of Portside’s top agents. She previously worked as a teacher and mentor in primary education.

Jeff rogers

Mission Broadband has hired Jeffrey Rogers as director of strategic initiatives. Rogers, of Westbrook, previously worked for Covetrus, where he held leadership roles in analytics, strategic accounts, growth initiatives and business operations. He also worked for The Beacon Consulting Group.

Malone Commercial Brokers announced four new hires:

Luc Malone

Luc Malone joined the Malone brokerage team after four years of development work with Essex North.

Susie pollard

Susie pollard joined the firm as a marketing specialist. Pollard brings over a decade of commercial real estate experience with local and international companies including JLL and CBRE.

Carly parent

Carly parent was hired as an assistant broker and marketing specialist. Parent previously held a marketing position at The Boulos Company.

Cassie Demick

Cassie Demick was hired as an operations assistant. Demick graduated from the University of Maine at Orono.

Katherine skinner joined Perkins Thompson as an associate lawyer. Skinner is a member of the real estate, business and corporate law and employment law groups. She graduated in 2021 from the law school of the University of Maine.

Stephen H. Shea was also hired as an associate lawyer in Perkins Thompson’s litigation practice group. Shea’s practice focuses on a wide variety of civil matters, including employment, construction, and general business disputes. He also deals with criminal matters and protection against abuse.

PROMOTIONS
Lewiston-based promotional products distributor Geiger promoted Tracey Despres, Kaitlynne gibson, Dawn LaPrell and Julie vickers.

Tracey Despres

Despres has been promoted to supervisor of the key accounts team. She lives in Houlton.

Kaitlynne gibson

Gibson has been promoted to Senior Director of Business Development. She lives in Portland.

Dawn LaPrell

LaPrell has been promoted to Director of Web and Operations. LaPrell, from Auburn, has been with Geiger for over 20 years.

Julie vickers

Vickers was also promoted to Supervisor of the Key Accounts team. Vickers lives in Windham.

APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD

Make-A-Wish Maine announced the new members of its Board of Directors: Emily getchell is a financial advisor at Fidelity Investments. Getchell has been a financial advisor and financial wellness advocate since 2005. Jean Stibal has worked for Unum for over 35 years and is currently Senior Vice President of US Sales and Client Management Operations. Phil Doucette has been with Austin Associates since 1999. He has served on the committees of United Way of Androscoggin County and sits on the board of directors of Central Maine Community Health Corp.

The Maine Council on Aging welcomed three new members to its board of directors: Pierre Boulanger is Program Manager for Geriatrics at MaineHealth. Catherine ryder is Managing Director of Tri-County Mental Health Services. Angela Westhoff is CEO of the Maine Health Care Association.

Robert T. Whitman

Robert whitman was appointed to the Board of Directors of the MDI Biology Laboratory. Whitman brings experience in communications and strategic planning. He will be a member of the Facilities and Real Estate Committee. He will sit on the fundraising committee for the planned expansion.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

Jack Erler

Maine Summer Camps recently created the Jack Erler Award, named after the lawyer Jack Erler, “Of the lawyer” of the law firm Curtis Thaxter, to be given for exceptional contributions to camping organized for young people. Erler has served as legal counsel for Maine Children’s Camps for over 50 years and continues to support the law firm’s representation of camps as well as advising Maine summer camp associations.
