Therefore, our Director of Human Resources, Joris Huijsmans, will join the Executive Committee from January 1, 2022. With Joris joining the ExCom, we ensure that our continued focus on people, culture and organizational health is a priority. alongside our financial and strategic health.
Joris was appointed CHRO for the Carlsberg Group in January 2021. Since then, he and our Human Resources team have accelerated the People Agenda with a greater focus on building leadership capacity and strengthening our leadership program. diversity and inclusion globally.
Joris joined Carlsberg in 2016, leading the DraftMaster team and subsequently as Group Vice President of Strategy, involved in a wide range of strategic projects. In 2018 he was appointed VP Urban Development and New Business, and in 2019 he became MD of Carlsberg Export & License.
Prior to joining Carlsberg, Joris has over 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry and emerging markets. Joris is Dutch and has a master’s degree in civil law from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
