Berkeley Realty Property Management, Inc., currently owned by Pam Blank and Ed Robbins, was founded over 40 years ago. He focuses on property management for single family property owners, residents, as well as Homeowners Associations (HOAs) in the Greater Williamsburg area.
In a statement from Dodson Companies, it is noted that the transition during the acquisition will be “seamless” as the Berkeley team will continue to maintain all existing operations. This transition will include 61 HOAs, a total of 6,530 units to include condominiums and houses, as well as 470 single-family units.
“The most important thing for us was to ensure not only continuous operations, but also that our team would remain in place and that we would maintain our long-standing relationships with owners and residents,” said Blank. “We have built such trust with the people at Dodson over the years and know this decision is the right one for all of us at Berkeley Realty Property Management.”
Dodson was founded in 2007 and serves single and multi-family residences, as well as commercial clients with the management of day-to-day operations involving rental and property requirements across Virginia. The Berkeley acquisition marks the company’s eleventh acquisition in recent years and the fourth in association management.
“Berkeley is the established and respected leader in single-family home and HOA management in the Greater Williamsburg area,” said Duke Dodson, owner of Dodson Property Management. “This is a huge opportunity for our team to partner with Berkeley as Pam and Ed move on to retirement and new businesses. We bought the best property and association manager in Williamsburg and look forward to continuing and growing.
